All of IBM's IoT capability has been brought together. The team has a key role in driving transformational programs with our clients enabled by our new differentiated solutions, typically cloud based and with creative commercial models. We also take to market transformational industry offerings by the way we combine IBM capability with an ecosystem of partners and industry clients.

The team you will be working with has a global and regional responsibility. Globally, they will share expertise and solutions with other IBMers to bring the best solutions to our customers. Regionally, you will lead and support sales engagements bringing deep industry expertise to the team.

This role is a pure sales role (no revenue delivery targets) so you must have worked in Software and/or Consultancy selling roles previously. You will also need to be predominantly experienced in industrial industries.

In this position you will:
Sell software and consulting services packaged into solutions
Sell value propositions and consulting services based on the IBM products and services across IoT
Design and sell industry defining solutions coupled with best in class consulting
Operate as part of a broader Industrial team
Take a key role in the identification, development and go-to-market of new industry solutions, working within the successful IBM sales processes and tools

This is a unique opening with IBM. It is at the heart of IBM’s Strategy and Transformation agenda. Already in the last 3 years we have increased from 12% to 25%+ of our Global sales in this and related areas. The expectation is to grow this to 40% of IBM sales in the next 3 years. At least 5 years experience in/deep knowledge and experience of how IoT, analytics, and data can transform businesses
At least 6 years experience in / successful sales history of either software or services.
